TPP – TransPacific Partnership
Before you vote this year, make sure you check out the TPP, the TransPacific Partnership. This is an extremely important issue that will not effect your daily life immediately, but it will massively effect the long term life of your country, fellow americans, children and grandchildren for many years to come.
This is another sneaky tactic of skillful lawyers turning illegal ideas into legal laws – with hidden means for their own benefit – and usually in a “lame duck” session when few are paying attention.
Do yourself, your country and your future family a favor and take a few moments to investigate the TPP, and the people you’d like to vote for to see where they stand on this monumental issue. And always remember, what a politician says they will do and what they truly intend on doing, and end up doing, are completely different. That is the nature of “political theater”. And what the mass media tells you about issues like these and many others, are purely to serve their own interests and manipulate you to believing their “version” of the truth.
Trust your gut. Whether you are red or blue, left or right, that nonsense is just here to distract us all from using our powers as citizens. Contact your representative and tell them where you stand on this issue – it does not take that much time… And if you decide to vote, please vote wisely & consciously.
A bit of info on the deal:
“is a secretive multi-national, trade agreement that threatens to extend restrictive intellectual property laws across the globe and rewrite international rules on its enforcement”
“calls for a tribunal of selected lawyers to be able to decide the law within this agreement, including giving corporations the right to sue the federal government”
“In 2013 when TPP was still being negotiated, Sierra Club‘s director of responsible trade, Ilana Solomon, argued that the TPP “could directly threaten our climate and our environment [including] new rights that would be given to corporations, and new constraints on the fossil fuel industry all have a huge impact on our climate, water, and land.”
I do not personally endorse or support either of the presidential candidates but for clarity, as of today:
– Hillary Clinton has publicly denied being in support of the TPP. While her husband fully supports it. You decide how honest you feel these two people are. She has already pushed the deal nearly 50 times, and appears to be a spokesperson for this deal – yet has changed her mind on this recently.
– Donald Trump opposes the deal, arguing that it will hurt American workers. Who knows about this guy in any matter.
These people say whatever they have to get you to vote for them.
– Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are both strongly against this deal.
Here are a few links to more info about this “partnership” – as always be aware of who is providing the info & what their agenda truly is, including me:
